Voice security specialist SpeechPro announced this week plans to make available its voice biometric platform, VoiceKey, through Avaya’s DevConnect, an online marketplace for customers to integrate third-party products and solutions.
Through the DevConnect program, Avaya provides customers a wide range of technical access and support for the Avaya Aura Experience Portal. The partnership will help expand the reach of VoiceKey as a means to authenticate the identity of individuals and secure customer information.
In achieving compliance with the Aura Experience Portal, “SpeechPro’s VoiceKey solution has undergone rigorous interoperability testing,” said Eric Rossman, vice president of developer relations for Avaya in the announcement. “By working with companies like SpeechPro to ensure compatibility, Avaya customers can choose from hundreds of third-party applications and deploy them with confidence.”
Last year, SpeechPro announced a partnership with Voxeo, an Aspect company, with the VoiceKey Intelligent Voice Authentication solution for IVR services.
Leveraging over 18 years of experience in voice processing and forensic audio analysis, SpeechPro has also developed a multi-modal product, VoiceKey.OnePass, combining both voice and facial recognition. The company claims to achieve a very low “equal error rate” (EER) in a test lab. As a proprietary authentication method, the product also supports liveness testing, the ability to serve up digits in a random order to ensure the authentication attempt is not recorded.
