SpeechTek West is in the books and it’s time to take stock of the announcements that emanated from the San Francisco venue. IBM (with Opera), Avaya, Brooktrout, Voxeo, SandCherry and Datria provided the most visible examples of how automated speech is incorporated into well understood business and entertainment activities. It’s time to showcase such demos to a broader audience.
