When the Strata CIX from Toshiba rolls out in the next month, it brings to market an IP-PBX and attendant phones, a software-based media application server and application development tools to address the needs of medium-sized enterprises. Toshiba has been steadily increasing the market share of its electronic key telephone systems and has already rolled out several models of IP telephones.
