Local Matters links Aptas, YPSolutions.com and ISx

On Thursday, April 14, the ink dried on a deal that joins search ontology specialist Aptas with Enhanced DA platform provider ISx and YPSolutions, a firm that turns the highly formatted Yellow Pages information into a searchable database. The three companies form the foundation of a new firm called Local Mattersâ„¢. The resulting company has over 140 employees and a global footprint of 40 international customers, ranging from Yellow Pages publishers and directory assistance service providers to local Internet search specialists.
