Enacomm and VoiceVault Partner on Voice Authentication Service

Enacomm_250wLong-standing voice biometrics provider VoiceVault announced a partnership this week with Texas-based Enacomm, providers of customer interaction management for self-service, to help provide secure and convenient authentication of customers.

According to the announcement, VoiceVault’s voice biometric engine will be integrated into Enacomm Voice Authentication™ (EVA), an application that enables authentication of phone-based customer service.

Enacomm CEO Michael Boukadakis said, “The passwords, PINs, and static security questions traditionally used for account authentication have been compromised and, today, only proven methods of identification such as voice biometrics will fully protect customers.”

The partnership points to an important step in the growth of voice biometrics-based authentication. With a customer base that includes large enterprises in financial services and credit unions, healthcare and utilities, Enacomm will now be able to deliver voice-based authentication to new vertical customers.

For its part, VoiceVault also recently announced a first-of-its-kind platform exclusively for mobile called ViGo. As mobile devices are incresasingly used for both business and personal applications, VoiceVault has developed an off-the-shelf solution for voice biometrics in a mobile app.
