Lithium Released Social Media Monitoring for Facebook Pages

Here’s a blog post by Margaret Francis, VP of Product at Lithium Technologies. She speaks for the folks to “Scout-Labs-turned-Lithium-Social-Media-Monitoring” and tells of the formal release of a version of LSMM that monitors posts on selected Fan Pages in Facebook.

As described, the new service lets Lithium customers choose the page to monitor, select phrases to “listen” for and conduct analytics regarding the frequency of mentions or use of the selected phrases. The service makes use of the Facebooks FQL API which means, as Ms. Franciso points out, the bulk of the information in Facebook remains private.
