Dialogic Acquires NMS Communications Platforms Business

Consolidation at the “bricks and blades” level continues as predicted with Dialogic’s purchase of the Communications Platforms line of business from NMS Communications. Aculab, Audiocodes, Pika Technologies and Sangoma keep their independent status. The $28 million (USD) paid to NMS by Dialogic represents zero premium over book value as Dialogic must focus on supporting NMS’ loyal customer base and mapping out a non-disruptive path for them to migrate to Dialogic’s Open Media Platform.
